1️⃣ Check Your Eligibility

2️⃣ Gather Your Documents
Prepare both applicant and host documents:
Applicant Documents:
➢Valid passport (must remain valid for your entire stay).
➢Proof of medical insurance (at least $100,000 CAD coverage).
➢Completed medical exam form (if required).
➢Proof of relationship (birth certificate, family registry, etc.).
➢Proof of financial independence (bank statements, assets).
Host Documents:
🔘 Letter of invitation with full details.
🔘 Proof of status in Canada (PR card, citizenship certificate).
🔘 Proof of income meeting MNI.
🔘 Recent tax documents (NOA, employment letter, bank slips).
3️⃣ Complete Application Forms
Fill out the required forms accurately:
♦️ IMM 5257 – Application for Temporary Resident Visa (Super Visa)
♦️ IMM 5645 – Family Information Form
♦️ IMM 5409 – Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (if applicable)
4️⃣ Submit Your Application
Apply online through your IRCC account or via a Visa Application Centre (VAC) in your home country. Upload all documents, pay the visa and biometrics fees, and submit.
5️⃣ Provide Biometrics
If required, you’ll receive a Biometrics Instruction Letter after applying. Book an appointment at your nearest VAC and complete this step promptly.
6️⃣ Wait for Processing
Average processing time is 8–12 weeks, depending on your country. Keep track through your IRCC account.
7️⃣ Decision and Passport Request
If approved, you’ll receive a Passport Request Letter for visa stamping. Once issued, you’ll have a multiple-entry Super Visa valid for up to 10 years.
